Configuration reference

Publish the config with php artisan vendor:publish --tag="earmark-config". Every value below is a default for all visitors; visitors can change their own view in the settings panel.

General

Key	Default	Description
`side`	`left`	Edge to sit on: `left`, `right` or `bottom`.
`align`	`center`	Where along that edge: `start`, `center` or `end`.
`layout`	`panel`	`mini` (Dock), `panel` or `theater`.
`preset`	`elastic`	Motion preset: `elastic`, `glide`, `genie`, or one you register.
`live_limit`	`3`	How many saved views stay fully live. Beyond this, the least recently used become frozen snapshots.
`total_limit`	`5`	How many views can be saved in total.
`collect`	`false`	Keep pages automatically as the visitor browses.
`live_previews`	`true`	Keep saved views live. When off, every saved view is a snapshot.
`snapshot_previews`	`true`	Show a picture of frozen views. When off, show just the name.
`store`	`browser`	Where the saved list lives: `browser` or `database`.

Appearance

`appearance.mini.magnify`	`2.6`	How much Dock previews magnify under the cursor.
`appearance.reveal`	`drawer`	`drawer` or `always`.

About tab

Key	Default	Description
`about.version`	`null`	Override the version shown, for bundled copies.
`about.repository`	`null`	Link shown in the About tab. Only `https://` links are shown.
`about.server_details`	`true`	Show PHP, Laravel and store details.

Routes

Only used by the database store.

Key	Default	Description
`routes.prefix`	`earmark`	URL prefix for Earmark's endpoints.
`routes.middleware`	`['web']`	Middleware for the endpoints.
`routes.throttle`	`30,1`	Rate limit: requests per minute.

Component attributes

These can also be set per layout on the component: side, layout, preset, live-limit, total-limit and adopt.
